# Software Acceptance and Release Evidence

Agree what a change must do and deliver the scenario, result and release identity.

## Evaluate one useful outcome

Start with a failing API journey or a delivery milestone whose acceptance is
unclear. Use a controlled target and synthetic data. DamageBDD supplies the
executable scenario and report; a reviewer decides whether the evidence covers
the agreed requirement.

- [API journey assurance](../articles/api_journey_assurance.md)

- [Build and release provenance](../articles/release_provenance.md)

The first deliverable is a repeatable failure-to-fix demonstration with the
feature, report, target and source/build revision. Record uncovered behaviour
and an explicit acceptance decision. No test result alone releases funds or
certifies general correctness.
