An editorial analogy about making expectations observable, separated from physical or capacity claims.

## Make an expectation observable

Writing a shared behaviour scenario changes how a team discusses software:
people can inspect the same expectation and compare it with a recorded result.
That is the useful observation metaphor behind this earlier article.

It is an analogy, not a physical model. DamageBDD does not obtain infinite
capacity from quantum mechanics, and a test does not predict every possible
production failure. Workload, concurrency, target behaviour and infrastructure
all constrain an execution.

Use Gherkin to describe an observable outcome, implement the required steps
and measure the actual run. Preserve the feature and report for review.
The [execution guide](damagebdd_evidence_workflows.md) describes that workflow;
the [vision](../vision.md) explains its wider purpose.
