# The Potential of Independently Verifiable Work

## Make progress inspectable

DamageBDD's opportunity is to connect requested behaviour, execution results,
source records and acceptance decisions. ECAI, erm and signed-event workflows
extend that idea into knowledge work and operations. Read the
[platform vision](../vision.md) for the direction and
[platform map](../platform.md) for the component roles.

The potential benefit is less reconstruction during a handoff: a reviewer can
follow the task to the source, report and decision. It should be measured in
a real engagement through time to acceptance, reproducibility and handling
of failed cases.

Independent multi-node verification and exchange of verified work could extend
that model. They require demonstrated coordination, incentives and settlement;
a comparison with Bitcoin is not evidence that those properties already hold.
